About The Role
We are a proud, values-led care provider looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team within our care home.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking pride in a clean, well-run kitchen, and is happy to step up and support cover when needed.
Hours
- 07:00am – 18:30pm
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Some weekend working required
- Involves holiday and absence cover

Pay
- £13.94 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation to a good standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
- Washing up and general kitchen duties
- Supporting the cook and wider kitchen team
- Following food hygiene, health & safety, and care home standards
Experience Required
- Previous kitchen experience is essential
- Confident in kitchen operation
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and flexible
