Bedrooms are situated on three floors and are all individually and tastefully decorated. There are many single and some double rooms, many with en-suite facilities, others with wash hand basins and commodes. A passenger lift accommodationodates all floors. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal effects and are free to decorate their rooms to their own tastes. All rooms have a nurse-call system and television point. Some also have a telephone point.

We provide free Wi-Fi throughout.

Services are held by the local minister or priest at regular intervals, but we can arrange for your own vicar or priest to visit at any time.

The home has two sitting rooms, both large and spacious and tastefully decorated to provide a homely atmosphere, each having a television.

Our cooks provide excellent varied meals using fresh seasonal vegetables and produce for delicious home baking. Special diets are catered for. All meals are served in the large spacious dining room with adjoining conservatory overlooking the garden or in the residents room.

All laundry is undertaken on the premises apart from dry-cleaning. It is essential that all clothing is clearly named and is machine washable.

Stars "Quite simply, I know that my mother could not have received better care..."

The home is very understanding and supportive to the family of residents and very professional at helping one deal with or prepare for difficult situations. The Matron and her staff manage to achieve a perfect balance between being very professional and yet remaining very human and warm. I really miss my visits to Cathedral View and I would recommend this nursing home without reservation.
